There is no cost to register for an account or take the survey. In addition, the reports genereated from the survey are also free to view and download
If you do not have a login, select "click here to register". This will bring you to the Registration screen where you may identify and register your Organization and an Organization Administrator. The Organization Administer will manage the account for the organization. The e-mail address entered for the Organization Administrator will receive an e-mail with a link to set a password for the account.
Once you have received an e-mail with the link, click on the link and enter the password you want to set for the account. The link you received is a unique link for your organization's survey
To access the survey, the Organization Administrator must first set up a "Program". On the Home screen, click on "Add New Program". To use this tool organization-wide please enter the Organization's information under "Add New Program". Once a Program is added, the survey may be accessed.
Once your Program has been added, the Program will be shown on the Home screen. Click on the "Create/View Surveys" button next to your Program Name; creating a survey actually creates a link to distribute to others. Next, click on the "Add New Survey". Fill out the form for the survey and submit. For the Survey Name, use a name that is best suited to your distribution of the survey (i.e. Survey Date/Month & Year; Date and Target Audience, etc.). After submitting the form, you will receive a unique URL to link participants to the survey. The system will also generate e-mail text which includes a hyperlink to the survey. The text can be copied and sent to those you would like to complete the survey. Note, the length of time the survey will be open defaults to one month. You may change the start date and end date, but the maximum amount of time the survey will be open is 1 month.
No; the unique link that the Organization Administrator received may be sent to an unlimited number of people. All surveys completed within the time frame that the survey is open will be aggregated in the Report.
The ESTA is a point-in-time survey and can be deployed before, during or after any transformation initiative and use to gauge your progress. To administer the survey additional times, you must create a new survey instance and distribution, using the instruction under the FAQ "How do I complete the survey and/or distribute the survey to others for completion?" Make sure to use a different name for each subsequent administration of the survey.
The report may be viewed and downloaded by the Organization Administrator. To view a report from the Home screen, click on "Create/View Surveys" on the line of the program that you wish to view. Next, click on "View Survey Report". You can also select "Reports" on the task bar and select which report you wish to view. Next, click on "Run Report". You may generate a PDF of the Report.
